Robinhood Launches March Madness Prediction Markets

In addition to basketball-related markets, Robinhood will also provide an opportunity to predict the upper limit of the target fed funds rate in two months. These contracts will be accessible from 8 am to 3 am ET, offering customers a diverse range of trading options.

Following discussions with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Robinhood has received the green light to launch these event contracts. The platform has partnered with KalshiEX, a CFTC-regulated exchange, to support its prediction market hub in the United States.
